Apart from the excellent graphics, a brand new soundtrack has been pushed in, and it definitely hits some good notes as the game progresses. Graphically, Breath of Fire III is a cross between 2D Sprites and an isometric 3D environment. Also, there are certain new features that BoF III has such as the examine system which enables you to pick up opponents moves by examining them, ofcourse, this doesn't work every single time, it depends on your luck as well. In Breath of Fire III you play as Ryu, who has certain powers such as morphing into deadly dragon forms and unleashing all sorts of magic. As this edition of the BoF series is on the Sony Playstation, you can only expect better graphics than the previous Super Nintendo titles. With this new release, Capcom has tried to bring certain unique elements to the table once again. The Breath of Fire series was originally released for the Super Nintendo.
